Hand-picked ingredients from the wild of Austria give brewmaster Axel Kiesbyes beers of the wilderness their unique flavor. An enjoyable cooperation with the Austrian Federal Forests since 2011. Every year in Obertrum a new limited vintage beer with changing ingredients from the wild collection is brewed. Kiesbye is not enough. In addition to brewing, he is concerned with the conscious enjoyment, the sensitivity and the appreciation for outstanding beers. He fights for knowledge and lived sensor technology, for the recognition of the subtle nuances that distinguish top beers from the standard. He gives everything for this mission. He explains, writes, talks, travels and convinces. The ideal place for the mediation finds Kiesbye in the gastronomy. In 2004 he developed the today internationally recognized training as a diploma beer sommelier, which is aimed primarily at the fine gastronomy. As a result, Kiesbye founded the beer culture house in Obertrum near Salzburg. At this special location, together with his team, he passes on knowledge, trains the senses - and inspires enthusiasm.
