Description
The castle brewery Fürst Carl in Franconia, known for its fine beer specialties, has been in existence since 1690. Since 1815, the Fürst von Wrede family has been at the helm. Fürst Carl beers are brewed in the copper brewhouse of the historic brewery. The range is typically Franconian, with craft beer styles added in recent years. The raw materials come from Ellingen and the region: water from their own well, hops, and malt from Ellingen and Franconia.
