Description
1888 When it was realized that the unusually soft Wiesener water was excellent for beer production, it was decided to build a brewery directly at the Aubach spring. It was founded on October 1, 1888 by the former forestry master Anton Königer - with the participation of the pastor of Wiesen and member of the state parliament. Frank - founded as a public limited company under the name: "Bürgerliches Brauhaus Wiesen". Unfortunately, the small business did not achieve the hoped-for success, so it liquidated after 25 years and on 21 January 1913 to the brewmaster Christof Hartmann from Würgau / Ofr. was sold. The output was then 850 hl. yearly.
