Description

The Badische Staatsbrauerei Rothaus AG is a brewery based in Rothaus, a district of Grafenhausen, which lies in the middle of the Black Forest in about 1,000 meters above sea level near Lake Schluchsee. It is owned by the state-owned investment company of the state of Baden-Württemberg. The brewery Rothaus experienced a rapid upswing in the 1990s and now lays off ten percent of its beer production outside of Baden-Württemberg. Chairman of the Supervisory Board is the Minister for Rural and Consumer Protection of the State of Baden-Württemberg Peter Hauk (CDU).
