Wolfgang Hartl, known as "Woif," resides in Seekirchen am Wallersee in Austria. For many years, this self-taught brewer only brewed for personal use. His initial experiences in making alcoholic beverages were with fruits from his own garden. Hartl started with cider, then mead, and finally, beer. He found his passion in brewing beer and in 2016, he decided to professionalize his hobby, still operating it as a side venture. The brand "Woif" has since become well-known in the world of Austrian craft brewers.
