Description
Beer has been brewed in Neufelden for almost 500 years. Since its beginnings, this beer has been considered an important testimony to local identity. As a cultural asset that is produced in harmony with nature and the people who live here and has thus helped to write part of Mühlviertel's history. The brothers Alois and Martin Meir continue to run the Neufeldner brewery in this tradition. In 2011, the brewery owners converted to a purely organic brewery and positioned the Neufeldner BioBrauerei as Upper Austria's 1st organic brewery.
