Description
The Kobersdorfer Schloßbräu is a small brewery in the municipality Kobersdorf in the district Oberpullendorf (Burgenland). The brewery was opened in 2009. Peter Döllinger completed a degree in food and biotechnology and worked alongside his studies at the Ottakringer brewery. After completing his studies, he joined the "Financial Controlling" of the Ottakringer brewery, where he also worked for a year in Cameroon. As a result, Döllinger worked for the brewery Stiegl, after which he worked in Schladmig, where he worked for the first time on the complete conversion of a brewery. After that he became self-employed and planned breweries all over the world. In 2008 he finally started his own business with his brewery. To this end, he acquired the brewing facility of the closed Schlossbräu Dornbirn, a Canadian HDP plant with a 1,000 liter brewing pan. In addition, the brewery was equipped with three fermenting vats, seven storage tanks and two pressure and Ausschanktanks, each made of stainless steel with a copper cladding.
