In 2011, Mario and Timm have quit their jobs and set up their first home-brewing facility in a backyard flat share in Munich's Glockenbachviertel. For the dream of their own beer, they exchanged suit and tie for dungarees and rubber boots. Their goal: creative and exciting beers that revolutionize the boring German beer world. Her environment: she explained to be crazy. But after months of filing with the recipe and countless tasting trials, the time had come: the first beer from the CREW Republic, today's "Foundation 11 - German Pale Ale", was successful. A small brewery was found, which continued the experiments on a larger plant. With the first bottles of freshly brewed craft beer, there was only one goal: to conquer the hearts of Munich beer drinkers. The congregation, which preferred CREW Republic to the Unified Brew, and was ready for more, followed in 2012 with the "Drunken Sailor - IPA" followed by the "Roundhouse Kick - Imperial Stout" and the "7:45 Escalation - Double IPA". But then a new problem: too little beer and comforting customers. An own brewery was needed. Two years of planning, then the dream could be realized. Since May 2015 CREW Republic Brewery is located in the north of Munich. From summer 2017 also with own craft beer garden and tap room. CREW Republic stands for honest, artisan brewed and exceptionally flavorful beers. Mario and Timm are always on the lookout for new recipes and the best raw materials in the world. Her mission: "Brewing Awesomeness." Her motto: "Craft Beer is not a Crime!"
