Although 58 bitterness units are quite a lot compared to other beers, in the field of IPAs this value tends to be in the lower range. The different types of hops complement each other wonderfully. While the German hops used (Hercules and Cascade) are more responsible for the bitter note, the American hops (Citra and Simcoe) give the beer more exotic and fruity aromas. Together with three types of malt (Pilsen malt, Munich malt and caramel malt) this results in a very round IPA.
