Michael Schneider, the founder of BrauSchneider, has fulfilled his dream of having his own craft beer brewery in Schiltern near Langenlois in Lower Austria, using innovative brewing techniques and technologies. The era of his hobby garage brewery came to an end. Under the motto "The stuff real beers are made of", Michael and his son, Head Brewer Felix, brew special, unique beer specialties, with each brew becoming a creative, artisanal event. It all started 15 years ago for BrauSchneider founder Michael Schneider. In addition to many stays abroad, England, the USA and Canada were particularly formative for craft beer. Incredible beers in a variety of taste, aroma, strength and color - not comparable to what Michi knew from home. This is how this idea of special beer came about and there is nothing stronger than a growing idea. After the hobby business and home brewery had become too small, the creative minds decided to professionalize this idea of "BrauSchneider" beer. The timing was good, Michael Schneider ended his career after 20 years in leading management positions in international corporations and founded his own company, BrauSchneider. Karin and Peter Bruckner gave him the free capacity of their new brewery - the Erzbräu and hosted him as a guest brewer in Gaming. Since May 2017, the Brauschneider range has been brewed at the new location in Schiltern near Langenlois in Lower Austria - in one of the most modern breweries in Austria. Innovative further developments in brewing techniques and technology are implemented in a new type of brewhouse. For visitors, the focus is on the craft beer experience: experiencing a creative, handcrafted product up close. To get to know, understand and taste the stuff real beers are made of, where it is produced.
