Description
The Rittmayer brewery is located in the Upper Franconian village Hallerndorf. The annual output is around 20,000 hectolitres. Rittmayer is one of the oldest breweries in Bavaria and over 600 years old. The Rittmayer family was granted the right to brew beer by Margrave Friedrich IV of Kulmbach-Ansbach back in 1422.
