Beer description

Viennese camps enjoy a small renaissance among classic beer styles after this beer style was almost extinct. The deep reddish copper color with a slight opal haze of this beer is really remarkable. The medium-pored and less intense foam disappears very quickly and gives the nose the opportunity to explore the aromas of this beer. Not so intensive herbaceous hop notes find their way into the nose with a slightly sweet malt accompaniment. The Antrunk is strongly malzbetont and shows the full-bodied spicy side of this beer style. The hops keep a strong bitterness in the background. The carbonic acid is very active and bubbles on the tongue. On the palate, it produces a sweet, slightly caramel-like malt note, which supports the very beautiful pronounced body of this beer. A light pleasant acidity shows up in the middle part, before this beer ends in the malty Nachtrunk. Strong grainy notes with a soft caramel sweetness. Also, the hops brings to the after-drink once more herbaceous bitterness.
