Here is a classic harvest beer that originally comes from the Belgian-French border. It was used to fortify the field workers during their hard work and is therefore not as strongly brewed as other Belgian beer styles. Spiced with orange peel, it's the citrus notes that first hit your nose and give you great anticipation. The fruitiness lingers for a long time, but there is also a nicely integrated phenolic and spiciness that transitions into a dominant astringency. The taste of bitter orange lingers in the mouth for a long time and really demands the next sip.
