Last April, Rascals, our wonderful friends from Dublin, invited us to a collab and their Happy Days Beer & Food Festival and we had a fantastic time!
This February we were delighted to welcome them to Lübeck to brew and party (hard, very hard!) with them.
We mashed The Black Wolves of Inchicore with generous amounts of oats and Bramling Cross, then gently hopped it in the kettle with Challenger and fermented it with one of those classic British fruity yeasts.
It's velvety, creamy and incredibly smashable - despite its 6.8% alc. by volume.
We taste dark coffee, chocolate and a hint of sweet fruit.
