Beer description
The Trappist brewery in Engelszell Abbey has been around for 10 years. That's a reason for us to celebrate. But how do you approach such a joyful celebration? With a special beer, of course. But how should it be? Strong and tasty, but it should also have a subtle, finely dry note. So we went on a search and trawled through the different beers in the world for possibilities and, as is so often the case, the solution was closer than we thought. The Munich Oktoberfest is the largest folk festival in the world and has a beer brewed especially for it. We knew then that we were on the right track. But of course we don't want to copy the Munich original. So it still has to get a signature touch from us. This is exactly where our top-fermented ale yeast comes into play. This gives the beer its classic yeasty, fruity aroma. At 13.5°P, we brewed it before Christmas so that it could sit in the storage tank at 0°C for two months. We now have the result in front of us in the bottle. As soon as you open it, you notice the fresh scent of the yeast. When pouring, a fine-pored foam builds up. The fine perlage of the carbonic acid and the copper color make you want to take the first sip. Malty, strong and a little hoppy. Exactly what we wanted! Celebrate with us and let's drink to the next ten years here in Engelszell Abbey.

Jetzt noch das 3. Mitbringsl probiert.
Das Festbier erinnert mit der Bernsteinfarbe an ein Weisbier. Im Geschmack ist es sehr fruchtig.
