Beer description

The latest creation from Schoppe is a real fruit bomb: Not for Cannibals is a Double Dry Hopped Double New England IPA and contains a generous portion of fruit in addition to the usual suspects. Fruit puree made from raspberries, mango, passion fruit and litchi gives the beer the aroma and taste of a whole fruit basket. Three types of malt and oat flakes ensure a velvety softness and a heavenly creamy mouthfeel. Not for Cannibals is a naturally cloudy beer in warm amber gold. A small crown of volatile foam adorns the beer and gives off an irresistible scent of fresh fruit yoghurt and exotic fruit. The initial taste reveals a strong body with 8.0% alcohol subtly integrated into the taste. A tidal wave of tropical fruits floods the palate and tickles the taste buds with notes of ripe peach, soft apricot and juicy passion fruit. The fruity variety is balanced by a crunchy hop bitterness, while a fine acidity balances the juicy sweetness and gives structure and contrast to the play of aromas. The finish stays on the tongue for a long time with hoppy bitterness and powerful fruit. Schoppes juicy Double Dry Hopped Double New England IPA Not for Cannibals is the right choice for friends of fruity sour beers and tastes good to everyone who enjoys crisp, hoppy bitterness and expansive fruit notes.

Mit “Not For Cannibals“ hat Schoppe ein Bier mit seltsamen und auffälligen Namen ins Regal gebracht, dem man beim brauen Fruchtpüree zugesetzt hat. Im Glas ist ein blass-oranges un…
