Beer description

The inspiration for single-hop ale came from a trip to England in 2007 when we visited a hop farm. We had the oppotunity to try a few berries. Oddly enough we have just had a beer that has been seasoned with hops from Slovenia. And that was it. As the name suggests, a variety of the Styrian Goldings which together with a high proportion of wheat malt gives a fresh, floral beer with a slight but clear bitterness. A thirst quencher. Taste-wise, it becomes a mixture of well hopped stock with some fresh acidity of wheat beer. The boil hop additions are continuous, intensified during the final portion of the boil which means a lot of hops but on the other hand, the flavors are more pronounced. The beer has won gold at the Stockholm Beer o Whiskey Festival 2011. This beer is sold in Systembolaget's regular assortment.
