Along with their busy, summer white nights, the Baltic expanses are famous for their polar, winter opposite. These long, impenetrable, mysterious north-western nights have a charm only darkness can bring. Think the pleasure of being alone with yourself. All this in mind, we brewed up an imperial Baltic porter to keep you company with this season. Dense and thick, like the black northern sky, with deep notes of coffee and chocolate. Shades of iris bring out a subtle, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it sweetness. The classic aroma of burnt malts is complemented by hints of cocoa, and the proof keeps the imagination warm.
