Creative Brew #6 of the German Creative Brewers.
On the "Day of Beer," the group of German creative brewers met at the village brewery in Unterweißenbrunn in the Röhn region and brewed together the Creative Brew #6. Each participant was allowed to take home the hot wort and ferment it at home.
This time, the decision was made to brew a strong, herbal Gruit beer. The spice blend consists of lemon verbena, meadowsweet, yarrow flowers, wormwood, coriander, juniper, rosemary, and blue fenugreek.
Four different versions were produced.
The wort was fermented with two different yeasts (AY4, Kveik) to offer an even wider range of flavors. In addition, from these two versions, a "soft egg version" was created by adding lactose to soften the intensity of the herbs.
