Beer description
Creative Brew #6 of the German Creative Brewers.
On the "Day of Beer", the group of German Creative Brewers met at the village brewery in Unterweißenbrunn in the Röhn and brewed Creative Brew #6 together. Each participant was allowed to take the hot wort home and ferment it there.
This time, the decision was made for a strong, herbaceous Gruit beer. The spice mixture consists of lemon verbena, meadowsweet, yarrow flowers, wormwood, coriander, juniper, rosemary, and blue fenugreek.
Four different versions were created.
The wort was fermented with two different yeasts (AY4, Kveik) to offer an even wider range of flavors. In addition, a "soft version" was created from these two versions by adding lactose to soften the intensity of the herbs.
