Beer description
(S) OUR EDITION: light amber, creamy vanilla foam, on the nose fresh citrus, - and Kernobstaromen of apples and quince, then warm malt flavors of honey and cedar. The palate appears pleasantly dry with harmonious acidity. In the taste aromas as promised by the fragrance, first apple cider and quince, then warm full-bodied notes of cedar and malt. A pleasant harsh reverberation. The story behind it: 3000 liters of beer bubbled in the summer of 2015 under time-honored spruce and chestnuts to himself. In the Salzburg Lake District, Axel Kiesbye found a suitable place to develop his WALDBIER forest-ripened unnoticed in front of thirsty throats. Here, a historic Gärbottich was first thoroughly cleaned and sealed by hand with spruce resin. It was filled with a blend of young, sugary and already matured specialty beer. It quickly went with the blend for a few days in the forest to start with the wild yeasts of Flachgau flora and fauna, a secondary fermentation and give the WALDBIER a special terroir flavor. Vintage 2016 with limited edition of 3200 bottles.
