Beer description
Jungfrau Märzen impresses with its pure, slightly sweet malt note. At the same time, it is full-bodied, smooth, and caramel-focused.
Märzen is a stronger type of lager beer; originally, it was brewed in March, as (back in the day) brewing was not allowed from the end of April to the end of September. In order to ensure beer availability during the hot summer months, a beer had to be invented that could be stored for a long period of time. This is how Märzen was created.
