JungfrauBräu AG celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2021. However, with an output of around 1,500 hectolitres per year, the capacity limit of the facilities was quickly reached. In March 2022, the capacity was expanded to 5,000 hectolitres. In addition, investments were made in the storage cellar, which increased both product safety and efficiency. Thanks to this further development, all beers can now be brewed in-house. In a statement, Managing Director Peter Margowski emphasised that the expansion of the brewery is a clear commitment to the location in Schwanden near Brienz as well as to the entire Bernese Oberland. The brewery team around Peter Margowski consists of six people. JungfrauBräu AG was founded in 2011 by Peter Margowski and Wolfram Seebauer. The brewery's range includes bottom-fermented as well as top-fermented beers, which are appealing thanks to their sweetness and freshness, their mature and fruity taste.
