The starting beer, a light bock beer with 22% original wort content, was specially brewed with a special malt mixture of Swabian malting barley and fermented with a very special yeast, which forms many fruit flavors. This voluminous strong beer was then stored in original whiskey wood barrels at a constant temperature for a full year. The fruit flavors of the yeast combine with the whiskey flavors of the wooden barrel to create a very special flavor explosion.
