Exclusive wheat beer specialty. Crafted by hand, traditionally fermented. In collaboration with the SIERRA NEVADA Brewing Company from Chico, California.
Hand-picked special Christmas malts were used in the brewhouse, giving the Christmas Weizenbock a warm note and a reddish, shimmering sheen. During fermentation in open vats, the Gutmann yeast was able to fully develop its characteristic aroma. The bock was then refined using a special cold hopping process with carefully selected American hop varieties. The crowning glory is the traditional bottle fermentation.
The result is a wheat bock that delights with its harmonious blend of Christmas-scented malt and festive hop notes.
