The brewing in Grünbach is documented with the brewing right from 1723 since the early 18th century. Other documents point to a much older brewing tradition in Grünbach. Probably was already brewed there with the settlement of Franciscan monks in the village around 1500 there regularly. However, the brewery in its present appearance and scope is above all Benno Scharl's work, which in 1787 brought the run-down estate and the dilapidated brewery in order. The prince buck is a wheat buck with amber color and volatile foam. In the Antrunk and flavor dominate sweet fruits such as banana and pear, but also a slight acidity is present. The sparkling beer is even a bit hoppy at the end, paired with caramel sweetness.
