Beer description
A very special delicacy was created for the Fanni Amann Days 2021, which start on September 29th. Galina spring water, Vorarlberg organic barley malt, Leutschacher hops, chestnut flour and yeast are the ingredients for this unique Fohrenburger Fanni Bock. A beer that impresses with its taste and quality - in keeping with the Fanni Amann cuisine. The focus of the exclusive Fanni Amann beer is the cooperation based on partnership. Just as Fanni created its own recipes back then, the recipe for Fanni Amann beer was developed by the master brewer of the Fohrenburg brewery, Josef Wasner, and craft beer brewer Johann Kessler and brewed in Nenzing. 140 years of brewing tradition from Bludenz, mixed with the innovative spirit from Nenzing, resulted in a beer with an autumnal golden color that is full-bodied in the taste and with a light chestnut aroma and a flowery hop note on the nose. The origin of the bock beer can be found in the northern German town of Einbeck, which was a center of the art of brewing 600 years ago. This "Ainpöckische beer" was brewed more strongly and therefore had a longer shelf life and was bought with great pleasure by the Bavarian kings. Because one rule has been in force since that time: "Liquid does not break the fast". And so it is not surprising that the monks in the monasteries the recipes for the bock, or strong beer as it is called today, were updated and further developed. The nutritious and tasty beer was particularly valued during Lent.
Sehr lecker
