A style that not many are familiar with, the Dunkel is often overlooked and
underappreciated. Take the always loved German Hefeweizen, add an array of warming, toasty, and caramel forward
malts, ferment it on an old-world Bavarian yeast, and you have yourself a Dunkel. Full bodied, full flavored,
and at 4.5% still session-able, we’re doing our part to revive this undervalued style.
