It took six years for Amager Bryghus to brew a Brown Ale, but now it's here. In typical Amager fashion, we couldn't resist giving it a little more character and a little more hops than the typical Brown Ale. Dragør Brown is a beautiful nutty brown beer with a dense and creamy head. The aroma has subtle chocolate notes and a fresh breath from the American Cascade hops. The taste starts with a slight sweetness from the Munich malt and then slides into a lightly roasted character with a hint of dark chocolate without ever becoming sweet. The hops are present without the beer becoming particularly bitter in any way.
Fast schwarz, angenehm röstig in der Nase, was sich im Mund gut ausgewogen und nicht zu kräftig, sondern eher erfrischend fortsetzt. Schmeckt sehr gut.
