Almost clear, light golden beer with white head. Hops aroma with hay seeds, grassy with citrus notes. The taste is slightly bitter, malty, grainy, mittelhofpfig, grassy with Heunoten. Bitter, hoppy after-drink. Brew Age from Vienna has already made a name for itself far beyond the national borders, because their beers stand for creativity on the one hand and extremely high quality standards on the other. With the "ice cracker" Iced Barley Wine, the Austrians won silver and gold in the category "Ultra Strong Beer" at the European Beer Star Award, which clearly speaks for their brewing skills. The EBS Award is probably the toughest beer competition in the world (2017: 2,151 beers from 46 nations submitted!).
