Beer description

European Roller Between 1990 and 2000, the European population declined by 25%. In Sweden and Germany it has even become extinct as a nesting bird. In the Baltic States and Poland, where there are only 30 pairs left, it is threatened with extinction, although not so long ago it was relatively common. The European Roller faces many threats: destruction of its natural habitat by intensive agriculture, illegal shooting along its migration routes, and illegal trapping for the pet trade. The European Roller is already as good as extinct in Austria. In the middle of the 20th century, there were still almost 300 breeding pairs in Styria alone. Since then, however, the population has been declining steadily - today the European Roller can only be found in Straden. There, Bernard Wieser and his comrades-in-arms are fighting for the survival of the rare birds - with great success: last year, eleven blue rollers bred in Straden, and so far this year four birds have returned.

Mineralisch in der Nase, cremiger Antrunk, krautig, sauber, grundsätzlich schön, aber nicht zu spektakulär.
