Bevog - Baja

The first visual impression reveals that we are not dealing here with a single beer. Very intense, deep coffee brown foam forms with medium pore while pouring on this black opaque beer. The nose is immediately spoiled by toasted malt notes as well as chocolate and somewhat fruity dark berry flavors. The dark berries then remain in the antrunk, which is more in the sign of the now coffee-like roasted aromas and sweetish malt notes. A very creamy mouthfeel occurs. Present but never intrusive carbonation supports a first sour bittersweet start. Beautiful full body with increasing bitterness and malt notes, which now show again from their chocolate side. In the aftermath, the bittern notes pull all the stops again and it also goes with a stronger acidity in a long night's drink.
