Amager Brewer's Playtime That's what you always say

The world of craft beer (whatever that might be) has grown far beyond our wildest imagination since we mashed our first brew in 2007 in the nuclear bunker that served as the original location for Amager Bryghus. Since then, the number of breweries worldwide has exploded, to double or triple what it was back in 2007. It's a crazy and inspiring world for us beer lovers, but it's also an extremely competitive environment, with many breweries struggling to find their niche in the market. And this damn virus certainly didn't contribute to it. But we're still here! Older and fatter, but definitely not wiser or richer. But we insist on being silly, curious and playful, and on continuing to experiment and fool around with the basic ingredients that make a beer. That's why we created the Brewer's Playtime series to do just that: play around. We're testing new ingredients and new brewing methods and hopefully you don't notice it because the beer is just so damn good! As we always say at Amager, we take beer seriously, but we take ourselves far less.
