Adler Bräu Schwanden - Rufelihund Pale Ale

The "Rufelihund" is an American Pale Ale, which originated from the traditional English Pale Ale and may experience worldwide renaissance. For this beer we have imported exclusively the best aroma hops from America to Glarnerland. The addition takes place particularly gently in our storage tanks from the early sixties. Through this process, only the noble, citrus-fruity aromas are transferred into the beer at temperatures around freezing point. According to a legend in Glarus, the Rufeli dog, with its fiery eyes, raged at night between Hätzingen and Diesbach. It is believed that an old bailiff, who used to disgracefully deal with the people in the villages, continued to live there.
