The first BeerTasting Challenge will take place in Vienna on Saturday, 21. September from 10 am to 7 pm.
The aim is to find as many breweries and their tasting beers as possible at more than 25 fixed stations and, of course, to taste a beer sample at each!
An up to date map you will find in the Challenge in the app.
For planning your route you find a overall map here.
Starter-Kits up for grabs at the Plutzer Bräu on Spittelberg, and on Fr. 20.09. from 6pm at the Wombats Hostel at Naschmarkt. And on event day from 10am at the Service-Stations.
YOU are the judge on this day and can rate the breweries' beers using the BeerTasting app. And also complete the challenge with the app.
At the end of the event, the most popular beers of the day will be determined.
If you complete 10 stations, you will receive a classy BeerTasting Challenge Vienna metal sign as a reward.

The BeerTasting Challenge Vienna will surpass Salzburg (2023) and Munich (April 2024) once again. We are working on it at full speed!
The procedure is the same for every BeerTasting Challenge!
Over 75 beers from more than 25 breweries are ‘hidden’ in very casual beer gardens, taverns, pubs and pubs in the city centre.
Find them and rate the beer samples with the BeerTasting app. Depending on the number of stations you complete, you will receive a bronze, silver or gold badge! And you can see how many stations each participant has already completed. (the app recognises whether you are actually on site for the evaluation!) - Who can complete all the stations? - Will you accept the challenge?

The brewers have chosen ingenious locations and catering establishments for their stations. Also exciting: many breweries are travelling with their fan clubs and friends!
In 2023, we organised the first BeerTasting Challenge in Salzburg with over 1,000 participants. It was great fun in Salzburg with fantastic weather, even though you ‘drank up’ the stations very early on.
We learnt from this and, together with the participating breweries, brought even more service staff, beer sommeliers and, above all, more beer to Vienna. In Munich in April 2024 this year, around 1,000 BeerTasters braved the ‘nasty weather’ and tasted their way through 25 stations. The server was brought to its knees, but we also learnt from this and ‘upgraded’ our agency for the BTC in Vienna.
We are looking forward to seeing you and to a brilliant first challenge in the Austrian capital! - Vienna here we come!

The above-mentioned breweries are partners/exhibitors in the context of the event, they are not organisers. Only the premises of the respective restaurateur/station partner were used for beer tasting purposes.
