Propeller Turbo Prop

The turbo prop goes USA. For the first time, this specialty is available in tin cans, just for the USA! The Imperial Pils from the Propeller increases the beer style Pilsener in every way. More alcohol, more hops, more of everything. Pils with turbo. From the light malt come honey notes and the full-bodied and soft mouthfeel. The German hops Hercules (for the bitterness) and Saphire (for the flavors) are typical for a Pils, in the Turbo Prop some Citra hops as added in a cold-hopping process.

We all have our own tastes, but this is the opposite of what I want out of a German beer. Unquestionably the worst beer in the box.

Turbo Prop has a sweet small head and a very good taste to a great beer!

100 points for great can art. Assertive hopping for a German beer, but not a hop bomb like your typical IPA. At 6.5 Abv, imperial may be a bit of an overstatement. Nevertheless, a nice change of pace from the sweetish helles lagers.

Hoppy with a hint of citrus- Great change of pace! A slightly sweet and citrusy start followed by a taste bud puckering hoppy finish. One of my favorites
