Kurpfalzbraeu belongs to the Welde brewery. It is family-owned and has been in existence since 1752. "Kurpfalzbraeu" is Welde's own brand. It stands for classic German, traditional beer styles: German Style Helles, wheat beers and, above all, the popular Kellerbier, an unfiltered lager.

With "Badisch Gose," they celebrate the historic beer style Gose, which originated in Goslar as early in the Middle Ages.
