BeerTasting Challenge Munich 2024 Ticket

20-30 breweries, spread over 20 stations in the city of Munich!

The aim is to find as many breweries and their tasting beers as possible at specified stations and, of course, to taste a beer sample at each! YOU are the judge on this day and rate the beer of the breweries with the BeerTasting app. At the end of the event, the most popular beers of the day will be determined.

When does the challenge take place?

Saturday, 20 April from 11:00 to 18:00.

Please note: The exact start and finish times & routes may vary depending on the day. A ticket purchased here entitles you to participate on both days.

So that you are professionally equipped, you will already receive by post

1 x Official BeerTaster wristband

1 x Official BeerTaster PIN (hiking pin)

10 x tokens - for one token you get a beer sample of approx. 0.1 litre

BeerTasting Challenge Munich 2024 - What can you expect?

The breweries hidden in the city of Munich are from the Munich and Bavaria area. Attention - it is often mistakenly assumed that the breweries can always be tasted at these stations. Of course, this is not always the case, some breweries travel especially for this event and take their delicious beer samples with them. The tasting of these beers is truly unique here.

Before the event, a map shows you roughly where the stations are located. If you really want to do all the stations on these days, special planning is required in advance and, of course, a certain level of fitness.

But don't worry, 10 stations (silver BeerTasting-Challenge Munich badge) are easy to manage. From 5 stations you will receive the silver BeerTasting badge in the app. At 15 stations you would receive the golden BeerTasting Challenge Munich badge. This goal is achievable, but the route must be well planned. In our opinion, 25 stops are not achievable within 7 hours.

Official BeerTaster wristband & hiking pin

All participants in the BeerTasting Challenge will receive a wristband and a hiking pin (Official BeerTaster pin) so that all participants in the challenge can recognise each other.

The reward: "Official BeerTaster" metal badge

Participants in the BeerTasting Challenge receive an exclusive Official BeerTaster metal badge when they have reached at least 10 stations. This will be checked via the BeerTasting APP. So you'd better keep up: 7 hours can pass very quickly! You can collect the metal sign from one of the service stations on the day of the event as soon as you have reached the target, or we can also send it to you by post. However, we will have to charge postage costs.

More challenges to follow

Salzburg was the start in 2023. As the challenge takes place alternately, it will not be in Salzburg in 2024, but in Munich. In addition to the Bavarian capital, other cities in Germany and Austria will follow in 2025.
