Beer Advent Day 8: Wieninger Schmusa

Beer Advent Day 8: Wieninger Schmusa

The Wieninger family has been brewing in Teisendorf in Berchtesgadener Land for 350 years and seven generations. Diversity is one of the strikingly important focal points of the Wieninger private brewery.

Variety

In addition to traditional beer styles, master brewer Bernhard Löw brews many distinctive specialties. They are called “Braumeister beers” and enrich the standards. But that's not all, because very experimental brews are created under the “Werkstatt Biere” label. The beers are not always easy to classify in the world of beer styles, but they have one thing in common: they are a little crazy and always of the highest quality.

Hearty beers from the brewery workshop.

The “Wieninger Schmusa”, our beer today, is also one of the workshop beers. It is a light wheat beer with a modern interpretation. The hop varieties Ariana, Cascade and Simcoe are mostly used for pale ales or IPAs. Löw uses these exquisite flavor hops carefully. He achieves a delicate citrus note in the aroma and a fine, well-balanced bitterness on the palate.

Enjoy this unusual brew that delicately caresses your senses.
