Beer Advent Day 17: Hoppe Bernstein Zwickl

Beer Advent Day 17: Hoppe Bernstein Zwickl

December 17 brings us a delicacy from Waakirchen in Upper Bavaria. Enjoy the Bernstein Zwickel from Hoppebräu.

Pretty “wuid”

Markus Hoppe was celebrated as a newcomer a few years ago and has become an integral part of Bavaria's beer world. He brews the finest beers: Fuchsteufels Wuid, Wuida Hund, Vogelwuid.

Hoppebräu reflects the story of a courageous young enthusiast: garage brewer - cuckoo brewer - master brewer - own brewery. It took Hoppe just under a decade to achieve this and he has given it his all, as his success testifies.

Hoppebräu beers are no longer an insider tip. If you are wondering how this is possible, let me tell you: in addition to all the love and enthusiasm, it takes courage, a willingness to take risks and a pronounced focus on quality and quality and quality.

We leave the wild ones on the shelf and look forward to a classic Bavarian beer, a Kellerbier:

Hoppebräu Bernstein Zwickel.

It makes you wish you were in Upper Bavaria and you can see yourself sitting in Hoppebräu's taproom with a frothy glass of Bernstein Zwickel, a good hearty meal and a “wuiden” beer or two.
