Description

Brewery story described by Helmut Dobritzhofer: "Long before my time, around 1769, brewer Johann Conrad founded a brewery - the later Austria Brewery - in Neudorf, Austria. The Austria Brewery became one of the largest breweries in Lower Austria, their "Austria Doppelmalz" was even sold to Egypt, and the Austrian brewery was bought by the Liesinger brewery in 1938. The company was discontinued in the same year interested - at first only as my declared favorite drink, later also for the history of the beer and its production. At then a few years ago, to be more precise in 2007, a friend came to me and said: "You have a bucket with us in the supermarket, there you can brew beer yourself "I thought, I'll try it once done, the bucket was purchased, produced the first beer itself. Friends of mine thought that the first beer would be a shaker (ready to throw away). Surprisingly, that was not the case and my friends encouraged me to continue. So I used a variety of ready-to-buy essences (InstantMalt) to make different kinds of beer, which were mostly popular. Encouraged by these first successes I decided not to work with the finished essences of the "Kübelbieres". I started now with a more professional production using hops and malt. For that, I built a small brew kettle with a friendly colleague and was now able to try out my own brewing recipes. Not all of them matched my or my friends' tastes. Through exchange of experience with other brewers and zealous self-study, however, I managed over time to produce various tasty beers. Although these taste different than beers from large breweries, but probably they find just because of my friends and acquaintances great appeal. Due to the increasing demand I had to enlarge my brewing machine some time ago. So today I am able to produce different beers. In addition to our standard beers, such as the house and Hofbier and the black duckling (Black Duck), we will also offer special beers such as wheat beer, cherry beer, India Pale Ale or Bockbiere seasonal. I am sure that some of them will please your taste - PROST! By the way, since August we are brewing with revitalized Grander water. "
