Description
The Wernesgrüner brewery GmbH is a German brewery in Wernesgrün in the Saxon Vogtland. The brewery has 125 employees and has been part of the Bitburger beverage group since 2002. The annual production in 2011 was 740,000 hectoliters. Wernesgrüner beer was a protected geographical indication (designation of origin). In terms of the quantity sold, Wernesgrüner ranks fourth in East Germany after Radeberger, Hasseröder and Krombacher.
