Description
The brewery was born on the first Sunday in October 1888, when Michael Plank served the first home-brewed beer. Shortly before this, he had acquired the so-called "Hallergütl", including the inn and land, and decided to brew his own beer. The transformation of the home brewery into a business with high-quality brewing technology required a great deal of dedication and work over the years. Despite some strokes of fate and difficult times, the brewery can now look back on a brewing tradition of over 100 years. To strengthen its market position, the brewery has for some time been cooperating with the Naabeck Castle Brewery, which distributes "Jura Weizen" to restaurants and beverage outlets in the surrounding area. Only local malt and Hallertau aroma hops are used in the manufacture of the products.
