Family-run and non-corporate, the Watzdorfer brewery lives the idea of regionality! Out of a deep connection to our Thuringian homeland and the people who live here, each of our beers is brewed with special care and with the best ingredients.
We trust our local farmers, who grow our regional malting barley with a great deal of experience and passion. Whether brewing water, hops or malting barley - the origin and quality of the individual raw materials are our top priority. We take regional cycles very seriously and live them intensively. For example, we provide local dairy farmers with our brewers' grains as fodder so that a valuable, regional product can be created.
