Tyskie brewery - a manufacturing company brewing in itself Tychy. It is now part of a group Kompania Piwowarska SA. Produces beer brand Tyskie, Lech (southern Poland), Oak Strong, bison and beer Princes. Until 2011, the brewery also brews beer Pilsner Urquell. At present, the beer production of the brewery Prince (old section) and support for logistics is a new part. Both parts of the Princely Brewery belong to the company. In the old part of the brewery remained bottling plant for barrels and cans and bottles are filled in the new part. Brewery takes a long time Mikołowska street (now it is in the brewery). At the beginning of the twentieth century, beer was treated by the brewery. Water for the production of beer is from a source "Gronie" (from which the name of the beer is raised Tyskie Gronie) on the slope of the hill Mikołowska. Tyskie Brewery are open to the public.
