To Øl is a young Danish craft beer brewery that was founded in 2010. At To Øl we make contemporary beers. We brew a wide range of strong, provocative, fresh and floral beers. We brew hoppy, balanced and complex beers, both light and dark, strong and simple. We brew the beers we want to drink ourselves and we are undoubtedly working to brew the best beers in the world. We don't compromise on taste and balance and keep pushing the boundaries of the great beer craft. For Øl is a vision by Tore Gynther. To Øl was founded in 2005 as a home brewing project and in 2010 it was permanently established as a gypsy brewery, which provided free capacities to other breweries for the following decade. In 2019 To Øl took over a former food factory in the western part of Sealand, Denmark, where we are building a full-fledged, purpose-built brewery and craft beverages center. After Øl Stadt is the name of the place. If you are in Copenhagen, our BRUS brewery is located in the heart of Nørrebro, just a few streets away from where the first test batches of To Øl were cooked. Here we brew a large selection of fresh, rustic, savory beers that are served straight from the tanks and, in response to popular requests, cook perfectly suitable dishes and fermented fries. To Øl was included in Ratebeer's list of the 100 best breweries in the world in 2012 - and To Øl was named the ninth best brewery in the world in 2014.
