Description
The Staffelberg-Bräu is a brewery from Loffeld in the Upper Franconian district of Lichtenfels. At the beginning of the 19th century, Jakob Geltner owned a tavern. One of his sons, also named Jakob, bought a house in Loffeld (Hs No. 8) in 1850 and opened a brewery there in 1856. In 1866 he built his own brewery, 1876 a barrel hall. The trademark of the brewery is the red-blue dwarf with a mug in his hand.
