The Schwarz family brewery in Krumbach was founded on the basis of a great passion for brewing beer. As the term suggests, the art of brewing is more than just a craft. Regionality with high-quality raw materials on the one hand and a traditional brewing process on the other is what distinguishes Schwarzbräu. As far as possible, all ingredients that go into the brewing process are sourced from sustainable regional sources. Our brewery in Austria works in direct cooperation with partners from the region. In our traditional brewing process, the barley malt is crushed using time-honored tools, then mashed and boiled in our in-house brewhouse. The subsequent fermentation process is personally supervised by Gerald Schwarz, the owner of the Schwarzbräu brewery, until the traditional beer is bottled ready to drink after 5 weeks.
