G. Schneider & Sohn Brewery was founded in Munich in 1872 and has been in the family's ownership for seven generations. With a pioneering spirit and a sense of enjoyment and quality that has been passed down from generation to generation, the Schneider family brews a variety of wheat beer specialties that are well-known and beloved far beyond the borders of Bavaria. Currently (in 2023), Georg VI. Schneider is leading the business. The product range consists of 10 different wheat beers. In 2021, Schneider's Helles Landbier was introduced. It is the first bottom-fermented beer from Schneider in over 40 years and is brewed according to an old recipe.
