For over a thousand years, brewing has been done on Cologne's urban area. The sociable enjoyment of the small bars has always been of great importance in the metropolis on the Rhine. At the end of a joint evening at our regular's table, a friend remarked: "Kölsch is a serious matter". At least now the brewery was clear: "We need our own beer."
